I didn't strictly have a blighted ovum. I was a little bit further along, more like 6 weeks. Things didn't happen naturally and I had surgical management at 11 weeks. Hello, I'm currently going through my 4th mc, 1st one on Mr Shehata's plan. All my mc's have been around 5 weeks and shown an empty sac (blighted ovum). I have read about this being down to genetic problems but don't know about testing for this. Has anyone had similar problem Just based off her initial HCG #'s she should be 6 weeks today (give or take). Her U/S today showed an empty sac and she will have a follow up in 1 week, but I was under the impression HCG does not double with a blighted ovum. Met DH - 9/2003. Dating - 9/18/2012. Married - 8/16/2014. NTNP - 7/2014-5/2015 The progesterone was 13.5 at 5 weeks, and 6.8 at CD 21 with the last BO. My HCG levels were good until about 6.5 weeks. I also didn't feel right with the BO pregnancies, symptoms weren't as strong as my pregnancy with DS. But, I know women who have had horrible pregnancy symptoms and also had a BO.
